volunteer extraordinaire

this is my good buddy maureen; an irish spit-fire, adventurer at heart, and cancer survivor.  we're clowning around here, but we both tend to be working at or volunteering for all the same community events!  

whether it's the cultural center, the lavender festival, first friday art walks, or this fueled by fine wine running event, maureen is always a cheerful and helpful presence.

she uses her retirement to help serve others and i'm delighted to call her friend!
