lean towards the light

i found this little treasure of a book at our local coffee shop.  it's entitled lean towards the light this advent and christmas compiled by christine aroney-sine and lisa derosa and it's nourishment for my spirit.

in celtic tradition, advent starts before december 1st and extends toward epiphany in january.  this marking of the calendar helps bring grounding to the entire holy days for me, including but not limited to the rise and fall of christmas activity and anticipation.

in this way, the season is far from over, really it's just beginning...
