breathe joy

this is the result of letting myself have a play day in my art studio this weekend!

i do love making commissions for people and teaching art; and it is also important to create with no agenda, just for fun not knowing what the outcome will be.

i've had the same melting pan since i was a little girl (thanks for showing me how to melt crayons, mom!) and used to sit for hours making wax papers over forty years ago.

this is the grown-up version of melted wax plus gold and silver foil!  i stamped "breathe joy" over the top in acrylics and by the time i looked up, it was past dinnertime.

truly a joyful and colorful experience!
