incarnadine

 it still thrills me when i come across a new word and look it up!  this just in: "incarnadine", definition:  (noun) a bright crimson or pinkish-red color.  it can also be used as a verb (gotta love 2-in-1 vocab!) as in "a spreading pink incarnadined the hillside".

kindly go forth, as i plan to do, and use this newfound word in ordinary conversation...
