connecting in tender times

when i told my friend who is an author and chaplain about my experiences at work this winter, she highly encouraged me to write the story for a larger audience.

i did and then queried the editor of Oregon Wine Press with the idea and she printed it! 

the edition came out on Good Friday. even though outward celebrating looks different this Easter, what better way to symbolize the season than to be with people in their sudden joys, sorrows, and waiting. that's what the holiday and heart of hope is all about.
