sharing her gifts

 i came across the artist lynn colwell by chance when my parents left their latest copy of guideposts magazine for me to read.

lynn's story captivated me for so many reasons!  as a child she was told she had "no artistic talent" but after retiring and taking an online art class, she discovered otherwise!

now, more than 1,000 paintings later, lynn has donated over $57,000 to charities.  how?  by giving her artwork away!  if someone likes a piece of hers, it's theirs to keep, all she asks is a small donation to their favorite non-profit in return.

i emailed lynn thanking her for this inspiration and she even took time to message me in return.  and i'm using several of her images to encourage friends.
