chase the sky
i took twenty-four hours to rest and unplug, doing one thing at a time, allowing myself to get absorbed in the moment.
the next morning sitting with coffee by the fireplace (at a house-sitting home) i noticed light playing through the window blinds. and am i ever glad i chased this moment.
slipping into the closest shoes i went across the street and down a block or so and was rewarded with this photo of mount hood. i have not edited or enhanced it in any way! normally the sky is far prettier than cameras can capture, but this was just the right angle at the exact moment.
less than three minutes later, back inside, i looked out and the color was gone. what have you been grateful to have seen lately?
