i love this book, "gather and make":

it inspires beauty in every season. i enjoy making flower arrangements for the hospitality venue where i work, as there are bountiful flowers and plants.

this last weekend, staff said, given the slightly decaying and frostbitten landscape, "we dare you to make a bouquet out of dead stuff!"
