provence fettuccine nuovi
i saw this recipe in a lavender cookbook and can't wait to try it! i'll just include the ingredients and measurements here, but prepare as you would a typical fettuccine dish...
unsalted butter
1 T diced shallot
2 minced garlic cloves
2 cubed ripe tomatoes
1 leek julienned
2 t culinary lavender
1/2 c seedless green grapes
4 shitake mushrooms
2 T Pernod liqueur (i think dry vermouth would also work equally well)
1 T basil olive oil (Durant brand is fused, or you could add basil to the oil)
1 c heavy cream
1 c tomato sauce
1 pound basil fettuccine
1-1/2 c parmesan
1/4 c italian parsley
