this was so much fun! getting to talk with my friend steve long about poetry--reading some of our own and some of our favorite poets, the time went so quickly.  we look forward to doing it again sometime soon!

who is one of your favorite poets right now, contemporary or not?  i'm currently feasting on a three-volume collection compiled by james crews:  how to love the world, the path to kindness, and the wonder of small things.

i don't know if it's a direct result of consuming such rich fare, but i can't stop writing!  when i first wake up, at lunch, before bed and on the back of grocery lists in the middle of the aisles.  not sure what's going on, but as with the rest of life, i'm going to roll with it and see where it carries us...
