carpe drive-in

after years (over 30 to be exact) of driving by one of the coolest historic drive-in movie theaters right where i live, i'm finally in line.

my excuses were always the line of cars stretching from the entrance to well past Dutch Brithers (i could use a coffee but can't leave my car. this was a spontaneous decision, you see) and the fact that they don't start until it gets dark. (i'd come for a 5:00 feature if they were open in winter).

and so, Star Wars and The Devil Wears Prada 2 await me. if i can stay awake, that is.

carpe drive-in, seize the movies! this theater really is cool. when one reads about one's home time in bougie travel mags, it's time to get over the excuses and go already.
