gather to make

another passion of mine is leading creativity workshops.  here are some quotes from retreat groups i've worked with:

--kt 2018
"i loved lanette's lesson...it went way beyond painting.  it was very healing for me!"--angie

"i think that's one of the best things we've done at retreat in years!  thank you so much, lanette"--debby

"thank you, lanette, for coming to the retreat and leading such a meaningful session.  while i knew you would be perfect for the setting, it still exceeded every expectation."--anita

"fantastic, absolutely fantastic!"

"the best ever!"

"delightful, relaxing and beautiful."

my friend anne marie and i hosted, together with our lovely friend annie, a day retreat for 35 women in yamhill, OR fall 2018 called "gather. nourish. make" that included poetry and soul collage as well as a catered lunch and featured local, specialty teas.

art in the vineyard 7.13.19 was a fantastic event! painting on the gorgeous grounds while sipping duck pond wine and enjoying a lunch catered by red hills market.

art in the vineyard 10.6.19 was also a huge success! we couldn't have asked for better weather and used oil pastels to capture the beauty of the changing vineyard at harvest time.

wintertime and the vines are resting, so we came into the cellar to paint for an early valentine's day!

going with the flow
this is our small group going with the flow 8.23.2020 outside in the vineyard.
(i chose to lead watercolor because, while there are techniques, it has a mind
of its own and can't be easily controlled, like the times we're in.  note guest's
matching winery masks.  there's no stopping art!)

beautiful people, beautiful day

  2. just did a retreat for 135 women using a silhouetted landscape of haystack rock at cannon beach around the theme of "thin spaces" or places where heaven and earth connect for us in nature!
